The Barn, Crackenback

We had the pleasure of designing this gorgeous, substantial holiday home nestled in the Thredbo Valley. We gave the home a sense of place in the mountains by drawing inspiration from the natural surrounds of snow gums, alpine tussock glades, and granite and snow capped peaks beyond. With an update to the floor plan, raking of multiple ceilings, and introduction of glazing we allowed much more light into the home; whilst drenching the home with the laidback luxurious style we’re known for with reclaimed timbers and stone - but adding a modern twist. Embracing textures and colours we finessed the existing property, with a defined aesthetic through architectural and interior design plus furnishing, that has evolved it into a discerning yet homely mountain haven - perfect for summer or winter days.
